The Monk

This venomous undead terror stalks battlefields after armies have dispersed. It mingles in with cleric missions as they offer solace and medical assistance to the wounded and left behind.  The monster looks for downed battlers, preferably weak but still alive, that it might appear to 'pray' over them to any onlookers.  In reality, it extends several tubers from the gum holes in its face to feed off the wounded soldiers, using its potent poisonous fangs if the victim is still coherent before a strike.
